I’m a beauty whizz & turned my old concealer into a blush using a clever trick… it’s Barbie-pink and looks SO good | The Sun

A BEAUTY whizz has unveiled a brilliant hack to turn any concealer into a blush that stays on all day.

Marjan, who lives in Los Angeles, often uses her social media accounts to share her top tips and tricks around beauty and fashion.

And in one such video, she was left almost speechless as she watched someone mix two different make-up products together to create a custom shade of blush.

“She made a blush out of a concealer,” Marjan then said while holding up a tube of the elf cosmetics concealer.

“We’re trying that,” she went on.

“I got gifted a Givenchy powder blush so I’m going to use this.”

TikTok user @youngcouture then placed some of the pink blush into the lid before using the stick of the concealer to push the product into the tube.

“After mixing for hours, here’s what the blush looks like,” she continued.

Placing three dots of the blush onto her cheeks, she blended it in with her fingers.

She went on: “This is giving Barbie… I’m kind of obsessed.

“That girl is a genius because this hack is so freakin’ good you guys.”

In the caption, she added: “IM SPEECHLESS!!!! This is crazy!” followed by a shocked face emoji.

People were quick to comment on the post as one person wrote: “Wait is this a trend now? I literally have been doing this for 3 years when I used to run out of my liquid blush”.

Another shared: “That looks so good, need to try that xxx,” as another chimed: “It looks so good!” followed by a smiling emoji.

A fourth said: “Shhhhhh I do this with my lip glosses too”.

And a fifth asked: “Wait, for how long did you actually mix it for pls?” to which another replied: “Until it’s mixed!”

Another way beauty experts use blush and concealer is by layering them over one another to cover under eye circles.

In a quest to achieve the ultimate baby doll make-up look, made famous by the Kim Kardashian’s make-up artist, Ariel Tejada, TikTokers have been applying a small amount of pink liquid blush under their eyes before adding their concealer and buffing both products in.

This technique instantly brightens your under-eyes, thanks to the pink blush acting as a colour corrector to counteract any dark circles.

Additionally, by subtly blending the blusher all the way up to the under-eye will – in theory – help avoid any harsh, unblended lines between your cheek products and your concealer.
