PARTY supplies can rack up a hefty price, especially when it comes to purchasing sweets.
One TikToker shared her genius hack for saving big on over-the-top cakes.
Content creator Mizzery Bell (@mizzerybelltiktok) is a home cook, food blogger, and social media manager.
In her viral TikTok, she shared a unique, thrifting hack to save hundreds on dessert.
The self-proclaimed "cake-thrifter" purchased two affordable white cakes, one for $6.99 and the other for $9.00.
"Start by stripping off any personality," she said as she sliced an icing rosebud off the first cake.
She continued to scrape the coconut-flake layers off the second cake.
After removing all of the frosting from both cakes, she stacked them on top of one another to create a tiered look.
"I'm going to made homemade frosting with softened butter, " she said, using an electric mixer to blend all the ingredients.
She added in powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and a splash of vanilla — all of which cost her $10.

The foodie then used a large kitchen knife to frost both cakes.
"We can make miracles happen," she said.
She then poured white chocolate chips into red food coloring, which cost her $6.
The blogger filled this pastel-pink frosting into a piping back, later making a similar blue mixture, dribbling it over the white cake.
Bell then prepped mini balloons ($8.99) and stuck them around the dessert.
The total cost of the ingredients and decor for the mega-cake reached $42 and looked colorful, festive — and expensive.
TikTok users were stunned by the cake-thrifter's final product. One user wrote: "Wow that looks good."
Another wrote: "I love what you do, keep up the creative and beautiful work."
