THERE’S nothing better than a crispy jacket potato with fluffy insides, right?
While many of us know how to cook a jacket potato, Private Chef and Masterchef Finalist 2018 Nisha Parmar has shared her simple method to get the best jacket potato.
With the cost of living crisis leaving many families nervous to turn on their heating and use their ovens, you won’t have to worry about any of that with this simple method.
Not only does Nisha’s method cut time but it is one of the cheaper appliances to use too.
Nisha Parmar, also known as @nishascookingagain_ on TikTok has shared her tips for cooking a jacket potato in the air fryer.

In the video, Nisha demonstrates how she cooks her potato.

To start, she took a large white potato and stabbed a sharp knife a few times over the skin – you can also use a fork to do this if you’d prefer.
She then drizzled olive oil over the skin and sprinkled sea salt on top.
The potato was then placed in their fryer basket with the temperature set to 190 degrees Celcius.
Nisha left the potato inside the air fryer for 45 minutes – usually, it can take an hour, or an hour and a half to bake a jacket potato in the oven.
Her video has clearly impressed many, as it has racked up a whopping 672.1k views.
It has 21.5k likes, 161 comments and 1,308 shares.
