KEEPING your sofa clean can be a real hassle, but the answer might be in your kitchen.
A Tiktok posted by user @aestethicallyinhome shows a shockingly simple method to get a spotless couch using items likely already in the home.
First, a dishwasher detergent pod is emersed in water and begins to break apart. The mixture is then whisked with a fork until the pod partially dissolves.
Viewers are then instructed to soak up the mixture with a small towel.
The solution-soaked cleaning towel is then tied securely around a pan lid. The ends of the towel make a knot around the lid's handle, tied tight enough for cleaning time.
Voila, the towel-covered pan lid is used to scrub the sofa, creating the "most satisfying lines" while the person in the video cleanses buildup from the sofa.
