A basic white T-shirt is a timeless wardrobe staple – but it does come with one main problem.
Whether it's deodorant stains or just from general wear, it doesn't tend to stay looking bright for long.
So one cleaning whizz, who was fed up of her white garments turning a shade of grey over time, decided to put an 18p viral TikTok tip to the test – and she was very impressed with the results.
Ash (@yourbff_ash) posted a clip online explaining how she was desperate to brighten up her white laundry loads.
So she soaked the off-white garments in water and vinegar, which can be bought for as little as 18p, for 24 hours to see if it made any difference.
"When the TikTok girlies come through with the cold water vinegar brightening and stain remover laundry tip and now you can wear your white shirts again," she says.
