CLEAN as you as much as you like, sometimes dirt will get trapped into the crevices of your wooden table.
And this is exactly what happened to TikTok user @youve.got.jade, who followed the advice of a video and discovered that her table was filled with grime.
“I have this thing that if I’m on TikTok and I see a cleaning video, I will get my a** up and I’ll clean what I just watched,” the woman said as she started the clip. “And I love it, it works well for me.”
Taking a toothbrush and a glass container full of cleaning solution, she then scrubbed the top of her wooden table.
The table had small horizontal crevices that stretched all across it, allowing for dirt and grime to get stuck.
However, the cleaning hack appeared to work as once she was done scrubbing one section, it looked immaculate.

“But now here I am cleaning my table with a toothbrush and I did not realise it was this dirty. What the heck,” she continued.
“I clean it every night after we eat dinner but all of the grime just seems to get stuck in the grains of the wood, which is why I originally wanted a concrete table. But the lady at the shop talked me out of it.”
Jade went on to explain that her fiancé is a mechanic, which means she can always tell what spot he’s been sitting in.
“…Because the grease from his arms just sort of gets stuck to the table that little bit more,” she said.

The cleaning whizz then shared how she wants to put a plastic cover over the table now so she’ll never have to go through the task of scrubbing the table again.
“But look at the wipe, how clean is that. So satisfying,” she said as the clip came to an end.
