A SAVVY shopper has revealed that there’s loads of new-in food in Iceland – with many items under just £2.

So if you’re having people over for the bank holiday and want to get a spread of food that is sure to impress, then you’ll need to listen up. 



Plus, thanks to these Iceland items, you’ll be sure to leave your guests beaming and luckily for you, you won’t need to break the bank either. 

Tom Church, the co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, one of the UK's biggest money-saving communities, has taken to social media to show off the latest bargain buys available in Iceland. 

Posting on TikTok on their official account, @latestdeals, the discount devil shared the clip with the caption ‘What’s new at Iceland?’

In the clip, Tom showed off the new-in items, including crisps, chocolate, ice creams and even Greggs snacks.

As he held up each item, he shared the price and said: “Cathedral City cheese and onion crisps for £1.50.

“Warburtons crumpet thins, £1.55.

“KitKat Biscoff bites, £1.35.”

As he got to the frozen aisle, he added: “Coronation chicken filled Yorkshire pudding, £2.

“Terry’s chocolate orange ice cream, £4.50. Ouch!”

Tom then caught sight of some other tasty treats, as he noted: “Harry Ramsden’s salt and vinegar crisps, £1.25.

“KitKat cereal, £3.

“Trifle gâteau bar, £2.50.

“Greggs vegan Mexican chicken-free bakes, £3.”

However, social media users were left totally stunned at the prices.

While Tom thought the items were reasonably priced (besides the Terry’s chocolate orange ice creams), many believed that Iceland had gotten too expensive. 

One person said: “Nope. Too expensive. Bye bye Iceland.”

Another added: “The prices in Iceland now are crazy. I won’t shop there anymore.”

A third commented: “Why is Iceland so expensive now?”
