THANKS to TikTok, Pinterest, and the like, it seems we’ve all become a dab hand at DIY.
Most of us have attempted a funky paint job using frog tape, and at least considered trying out the panelling trend.
But what happens when you run out of spaces to makeover?
This is where DIY pro and mum Jade Waller (@feel.at.home.inspo) comes in.
The 32-year-old from Essex knows that while your renovation might be complete, there are plenty of small ways to make your space look and feel fresh.
She said: “I love a 10-minute DIY, simply because they’re a quick, sufficient, and easy way to transform your space without spending too much money and time.

GREAT IKEA
The first of her four savvy DIY ideas – a simple way to hide your ugly wifi box, that’ll take you no more than five minutes, and cost you less than £15.
All you’ll need is one of IKEA’s SMARRA boxes and a pair of scissors.

“Cut some holes where your leads will be.
“Place it in the box, join up your leads, and pop the lid back on – and voila!”
The interior design pro also suggested doing the same with your TV and games consoles if you consider them an eye sore too.
Fans loved the easy hack, with the step-by-step Instagram reel gaining more than 400 likes.
In the comments, some of Jade's followers shared their thoughts, with one writing: “So neat and organised, I love it.”
PILLOW TALK
When looking for ways to elevate your home, Jade suggest looking for different ways to use the bargain pieces you spot on the high street.
Her latest example – turning a £10 Primark rug into chic cushions for the bar stools in her kitchen.
She shared: “So I’ve got these Dunlem bar stools – they’re made of metal and they’re not the comfiest, but aesthetically they look really nice.
“I’d seen them a lot on Pinterest, those sheepskin, Mongolian fur cushion pads.
“And I was like, ‘love them’ but they’re like £95 a cushion.
“So I was literally in Primark and I saw the rug.”
To make her bargain cushions, Jade folds them into her desired shape, using a hot glue gun to secure the sides together.
She then stuffed them with soft toy filling, available at Hobbycraft for as little as £4, before securing the remaining side.
And, for those worried about spills in the kitchen, Jade can confirm they’re machine washable – and this helps fluff up the fur again too
This has been one of Jade’s most popular DIY hacks on Instagram, gaining more than 5,769 likes and 631,000 views.

‘TIS THE SEASON
While not everyone has the budget to continuously makeover their kitchen, Jade appreciates that we all like to mix up our living space every now and then.
So, the content creator recommends adding some seasonal decorations.
And there’s no need to splash the cash on these, as the DIY pro has revealed how to make a super simple seasonal wreath that can be altered and changed for every occasion.
Jade said: “Life is hard enough as it is, why wouldn’t you want to enjoy and throw yourself into seasonal trends?
“I just think it’s such a nice way to have fun – and you can get the kids involved.”
To make one of her season wreaths, Jade recommends starting with a Hobbycraft wreath, such as the Rattan Grapevine Wreath, currently priced at just £6.50.
She then suggests accessorizing it with string lights, faux flowers, fake moss, pinecones, and even letters or small signs.
Again, this went down a storm with the DIY pro’s Instagram followers, with her tutorial gaining more than 1,600 likes.

MOVE VASE
Another way to freshen up your space without forking out on a new table and matching chairs? Consider making a bargain centerpiece to catch your visitors’ eyes.
When discussing her favourite 10-minute DIYs, Jade was quick to remind people not to overlook the small things.
We all notice when there’s a fresh set of flowers in the kitchen, so why not make more of a feature of this?
For this DIY, Jade recommends picking up IKEA’s Cylinder set of vases – a pack of three hurricane vases costing just £15.
But rather than just sticking your stems in, consider placing one of the smaller vases inside the largest.
In the gap between them, stuff your favourite fresh flowers, fruit, beads, or even potpourri.
To finish off the look, the content creator recommends adding a classic pillar candle.
