A DIY whizz has taken to social media to show off her epic fireplace makeover that she carried out herself on a budget.
Clare Bryson, who is also known on social media by her username, @blondybuilder, wanted to give her dated fireplace a new look, but without breaking the bank.
The mum-of-two is a mega DIY fan and while she works in A&E, she spends much of her free time getting her hands dirty with DIY projects.
In a clip shared to the video sharing platform, we saw Clare get to work on giving her old fireplace a new lease of life.
She shared her clip with the caption ‘Quick and easy fireplace makeover!’ and filmed herself getting to work.
She said: “Easy fireplace makeover with a lick and a spray of paint, in just a few hours.”

In the video, we saw Clare use a Zinsser 1-2-3 primer over grout paint, to paint the crevices of the fireplace.
Once this was done, she then used a Maston spray paint in sandstone effect to spray the bricks around the fireplace.
To finish it off, she gave the inside of the fireplace a freshen up with a black spray paint and then used a grey paint to go around the edges.
Once complete, Clare showed off the finished look which was extremely impressive.

Her once dated fireplace had been transformed to a very modern and chic look, without having to splash too much cash.
If you are looking to do a similar thing to your fireplace, Clare confirmed that she picked up the Maston sandstone spray from The Range.
The Zinsser can also be purchased on Amazon or from ScrewFix.
Her clip has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has amassed 20.2k views, 1,088 likes, 34 comments and 28 shares.
Social media users were very impressed at the transformation and were eager to express this in the comments.
