A PRO dog trainer has revealed the top three breeds that are near impossible to train as they’re stubborn and aren’t motivated by food.
Will Atherton regularly uses his online presence to share valuable information around canine friends, covering everything from breeds that suit small flats to dogs that are well-tempered around young kids.
Now, the dog whizz has revealed the breeds that are hardest to train “in the entire world”.
Taking to social media, he told viewers: “But first, what makes a dog breed so hard to train?
“Well these are dogs that are stubborn, they’re not handler engaged and they’re not really too interested in pleasing you.
“And they’re not necessarily driven by things like toys or food.”

He went on to explain that if you put all those elements together, you’ll end up with a dog breed that you’ll constantly be battling with.
It means it’ll be an exceptionally difficult task to get them to learn the “most basic of commands”.
TikTok user @iamwillatherton continued: “And three breeds that come to my mind that are notoriously difficult to train are the Afghan Hound, the Siberian Husky and the English Bulldog.
“The English Bulldog, however, still being one of the most fun breeds to work with just because of that sheer character.”

Another said: “English bull terrier are a nightmare to train”.
While a third shared: “hounds are definitely the hardest to train the second the nose catches some thing you don’t exist.”
“I have an English bulldog, she’s incredibly stubborn. It’s no been easy,” a fourth person explained.
While a fifth added: “i have a couple of huskies. i'm telling ya'll, they are too smart for their own good.”
