EVEN if you're insecure about your lower stomach, you can still wear trendy silhouettes.
All you need to do is choose the right pants, one style expert said – and not only are they flattering, but they're also comfortable.
Fashion influencer and body-positivity advocate Veronica Freund is known on TikTok for her upbeat, playful approach to getting dressed.
In a recent video, Freund talked about an area of the body that's a common source of insecurity, and how to dress in a way that minimizes it.
"So, you want to wear a crop top, but you aren't comfortable showing your stomach in a pair of jeans," Freund said, posing in a cropped tank top.
"Maybe you're like me and you have an 'apron belly,' or you carry a lot of weight in your lower stomach," she said. "I highly recommend getting a pair of joggers."

She gestured down at her jogger sweatpants, in a crisp white color with a drawstring tie that matched her shirt.
"Nowadays, joggers are super versatile," Freund explained. "You can dress them down or you can dress them up."
To demonstrate, she donned a blazer-style jacket, which instantly made her outfit look more put-together.
Most joggers also have a stretchy waistband or an adjustable waistband, Freund added, which is ideal for comfort but also making sure you get the right look.

"You can go ahead and make sure that your waist is snatched," Freund said, showing how she tightens the waist on her own jogger pants.
"It's giving you a silhouette, but it's not giving you a tight upper stomach," she continued. The pants left a section of midriff exposed without squeezing her body.
She turned to show that her lower stomach area – the "apron tummy" many are sensitive about – was fully covered by the loose fit of the joggers.
"You can wear your crop top comfortably without having to stress out about this lower tummy area showing," Freund said.
Commenters were grateful for Freund's tips, and eager to share their own body-positivity wins with her.
"Because of you, I bought a crop top. Thank you," one woman wrote. "I’ll TRY to feel okay enough to wear it this weekend."
"I am so proud of you. You are gorgeous and amazing," Freund wrote back.
"And here is some extra confidence for this weekend," she said, throwing in several sparkle emojis.
Another person said, "I'm showing my apron belly in my high waisted jeans!"
"So happy you are there babe!!!!!!!" Freund wrote back. "Some aren’t. So this is for them."
In her video, Freund also acknowledged that her tip isn't meant to make anyone feel like they need to "hide" part of their bodies.
Instead, it's one tool for others to expand their wardrobe choices while still feeling beautiful and confident.
"Hopefully we'll get to the point where none of this will matter and you'll be able to wear whatever you want without having to stress about it," Freund added at the end of her video.
"Society sometimes makes us feel really badly about our bodies and it can take some time for us to accept them," she said. "Hopefully, this tip helps a little bit."
