AN INTERIOR designer has revealed that there are three mistakes that people often make in their homes that make their space look ugly.
Bilal Rehman, a luxury interior designer explained that having a white loo is a massive error for one and so if you want your space to look and feel expensive, you’ll need to listen up.
Bilal took to TikTok to share his tips, as he posted his clip with the caption ‘3 ways for your house to look & feel expensive as f**k.’
He said: “Here are three ways for your house to look expensive as f**k with your favourite luxury designer.”
First of all, Bilal pointed out that white toilets are not the one for an expensive looking home.
He added: “Let’s talk about toilets – this is something that everybody overlooks.

“Everyone thinks that your toilet just has to be a basic white, boring piece of s**t toilet, but the reality is, if you want to elevate your space, think outside the box when it comes to your toilets.
“A black toilet is so sexy and on top of that, it will hide your doo doos.
“And if black isn’t right for you, there are many other options to choose from, but white is not always the best option.”

He continued: “Alright, now let’s talk about your closets.
“The easiest way to elevate your space when it comes to closets is matching hangers.
“Do not have a junkyard of hangers – wire, plastic, metal, wood, no.
“Have a unique, simple silhouette that goes through your entire closet.
“It’s going to make your space feel organised, much larger and honestly, it’s going to make you feel much better when you’re getting ready every day.”
Thirdly, Bilal discussed thermostats and revealed how to elevate them.
He noted: “Last but not least, it’s the same things that matter.
“This [thermostat] is f***ing ugly.
“Something as simple as changing out your thermostats will instantly elevate your space and make your space feel luxurious.
“Not to mention that nowadays these smart thermostats help you to save energy and money.
“I hope that helped you to realise that your space is ugly as f**k and could really use a makeover.”
