I’m a mum & figured out the best time of year to get pregnant – you can have ‘hot girl summer’ & still conceal your bump | The Sun

AFTER experiencing it firsthand, a mum has revealed the perfect time of the year to get pregnant.

Taking to her social media account, she told viewers: “Listen I’m not biassed or anything, but the best time to get pregnant is August and I’m going to tell you why.”

Devora explained that by the time you’re eight months into the year, you’ve “had your hot girl summer”, where you looked great in a bikini and everything was “amazing”.

“You get pregnant, wow, bam, thank you ma’am,” she continued. “Then it’s the first three months okay and some people get morning sickness.

“But it’s ok because the summer is over so who cares about morning sickness, right? You can puke up, you can do whatever you want.”

The brunette beauty said this stage of the pregnancy lasts about three months, which brings you into November.

From November onwards, the entirety of the UK is in Christmas mode, which means baggy jumpers and lots of food.

“No sickness over Christmas, you can eat as much as you want because hey, you’re pregnant,” she shared.

Devora went on: “Also, if you are one of those people that doesn’t want to tell people about their pregnancy super early on, well you’re in luck because it’s winter and it’s f**king freezing so you can just wear really big clothes, really big jumpers and conceal that pregnancy if you so wish.”

Moving into the second trimester, she said this is the perfect time to go on your babymoon as you start to “feel better”.

Devora explained that if you live in Europe, the weather is likely to be terrible, which makes it a great excuse to go abroad somewhere nice.

“It’ll be like January or February by this point, you’ll still be able to fly, you’ll have a grand old time,” she said.

She then moved into the “finish line”, which is the third trimester.

Admitting that she didn’t feel amazing during this stage, much like many other women, she shared: “You’re kind of getting a bit bigger, it’s harder to get sleep and stuff.

“But luckily for you the weather is getting better outside, spring has sprung and it’s the perfect time to take advantage of that nesting instinct that you’re gonna get, okay?”

TikTok user @thisisdevo continued: “Bam! You have your baby in May, this gives you a couple of months before summer rolls around again. You have a couple of months to get used to the baby, meanwhile the weather outside is still improving.”

You can then enjoy the summer months with your baby, she said, and ended the video by daring people to “convince me I’m wrong”.

People were quick to the flock to the comments section as one person wrote: “As a May child, I agree, my mom said I was the easiest pregnancy out of my other 2 siblings, I’m a middle child, May is a GREAT month to be born”.
