A MUM has gone viral after showing her manicure disaster – and some people have even offered to fix the mess.
When it comes to all things hair and beauty, sometimes it's best to invest that little extra and go to a professional – and this is exactly what one UK mum, Alex Buttery, from Hartlepool, did.
With a summer design in mind, the 21-year-old mum set off to see an nail tech to give herself a little treat.
In Alex's head, she would leave the appointment with a cute manicure – colourful nails with bright neon pink tips.
However, unfortunately to the beauty lover things didn't quite go to plan and the result was such a flop, she took it to TikTok to share the fail.
''This is what I wanted [smiley emoji] [heart eye emoji],'' Alex had written in the now viral video, which has been viewed more than 160,000 times.

But rather than a neat, precise design, Alex was left with something else – something so far off her expectations, another whizz even offered to fix it for her.
Not only were the tips far too large but there was also too much product on the nails.
Seeing the mortifying disaster, someone chuckled saying it looked like as if the beauty whizz had applied the acrylics with a shovel.
''Om*g,'' Alex continued in the caption.
