A SAVVY shopper has revealed that she took a trip to Asda and left with a huge haul of cheap buys.
Lauren, a mum-of-three, explained that a simple trick has saved her loads of money on her food shops in Asda.
Taking to TikTok to show off her bargain buys, where she posts under the username @laurenrollsxx, the bargain hunter revealed that she loves the Asda rewards app.
The loyalty scheme means shoppers around the UK can earn Asda vouchers to get them money off their grocery bill.
Lauren shared her clip of her shopping in her local Asda in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, with the caption ‘Obsessed with Asda rewards app atm.’
In the clip, we saw Lauren in Asda, as she filled her trolley with cheap buys, including strawberries and raspberries from the yellow Just Essentials range.

She also bought some cookie dough, milk and yoghurt.
Not only this, but she also got her hands on a £6 meal deal, containing two freshly-made medium pizzas and a drink, plus a Sky Store movie voucher and a Vue cinema ticket.
She also filled her trolley with Coca Cola, Fanta, Reese’s pieces, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, Maryland cookies and doughnuts.
She even stocked up on a few packs of 25p sweets and was lucky enough to nab two bottles of Prime.

Aside from the huge selection of sweet treats, she also got eggs, bread rolls and lettuce.
Lauren then headed to the self-service to pay for her items, coming to a grand total of £38.50.
However, luckily for Lauren, she had a £6 Asda voucher, bringing her total down to £32.50, saving her £6.
Lauren explained that she loves the Asda rewards system and claimed that it is great for saving money on your groceries.
At the time of writing, Lauren’s video was shared just 20 hours prior, but had quickly racked up 31.6k views.
It had 2,246 likes, 31 comments and 6 shares.
One person said: “I don’t understand how you spend your rewards at Asda, I have loads on the clothing but don’t know how to spend them” to which Lauren confirmed “Turn it into vouchers babe and then just scan it.”
Another added: “Never knew how to redeem my rewards until this video. Thank you” to which Lauren replied “It’s saved me so much money.”
A third commented: “I love your hauls more than anyone else’s.”
If you want to save some money on your Asda shop, to take part in the loyalty scheme, you'll need to download the Asda Rewards app which you can find on the Apple App Store and Google Play store.
You'll need to have an account – if you don't, it's pretty easy to sign up. You'll just need to pop in your name and a couple other quick details.
Then, you can earn cash rewards known as Asda Pounds when shopping in store and online.
You'll just need to scan the barcode on the app at the checkout. If you're shopping online, just make sure you're logged into your account, and then browse as normal.
