WITH food prices soaring, savvy shoppers are eager to find out the best places to do their weekly grocery shop.
And while supermarkets like Marks & Spencer have been gaining popularity, one money-saving pro has shared how Tesco has come through for her in recent weeks.
Kat, who runs a money-saving social media account called @katsaves, said she was so impressed with some of the supermarket’s prices that she had to spread the word and hand out her shopping tips.
So she has made a helpful guide of the six items that everyone should be rushing to Tesco to pick up, as they’re cheaper than anywhere else.
In the handy video, shared to her TikTok profile, Kat began her must-buy list with a lazy ready meal that’s guaranteed to be a hit for the whole family.
The delicious looking dish can be cooked from frozen in just 9 minutes, and the best part is that Hearty Food Co’s 400g Mac ‘n’ cheese is just 85p.

Similarly, Hearty Food Co’s Lasagne – also 400g – is priced at exactly the same.
They describe it as a “rich and tasty beef lasagne topped with melted white cheese” and say it takes 46 minutes from frozen.
Meanwhile, if you like to start your day with a cup of tea, Tesco stocks their own brand Green Tea for a very cheap 75p.
The packets contain 20 bags per 50g and promise to be “bright and refreshing”.

However, it’s not just food that Kat was keen to shout about.
She said Tesco is also very reliable when it comes to household products.
The first of these was Clean N Fresh’s Original Washing Up Liquid. The price?
Only 45p for 500ml and they say it’s a formula that will remove even the most powerful grease from dishes.
Other items she told her 21.7k followers to put into their shopping trolleys included Tesco Essentials soap.
The lightly fragranced bar, which is suitable for daily use, costs just 25p for 125g.
The same range also offers a two-pack of toothbrushes for a ridiculously cheap 25p – considerably cheaper than other places on the high street.
Fellow shoppers were keen to hear all about her bargain buys, as others raved about some of the products on her list.
