With the cost of living crisis continuing to put a strain on many people’s purses, it appears that more and more people are turning to side hustles for a bit of extra income.
One stay-at-home mum has revealed that she works just 15 minutes a day and is able to make around £2,300 a month thanks to her savvy side hustle.
Posting on TikTok under the username @gretecreates2, the woman revealed that her side hustle changed her life in just six months.
Grete makes her income by selling digital downloads on Etsy and now she wants to help others do the same too.

She revealed: “How I make $3k [£2,300] a month as a stay-at-home mum.”
The first step, according to Grete, is: “Design digital products on Canva.”
She then: “Lists them on Etsy.”
The final step of this three-step process is: “Use social media and Pinterest to drive even more traffic.”

In another clip, Grete confirmed: “This can be you when you start TODAY.
"I work less than 15 minutes a day on my digital Etsy shops and make around $3k [£2,300] a month and it took me six months to get there."
In further videos on her ‘Grete Creates’ TikTok page, she offered some suggestions for things to create on a program like Canva, that could be sold on Etsy, or a similar marketplace.
Among those suggestions were product label templates, printable party games, budgeting spreadsheets and children's activity worksheets.
In another video, she said: "Imagine waking up to Etsy sales notifications every morning.
"You’ve put in the work upfront to initially create digital products that can be accessed immediately, and there’s no need for you to do anything when the sales come in.
"You can drink your coffee and go on a walk without needing to worry about fulfilling the orders."
Grete also demonstrated just how much success she'd had with the side hustle, by showing how much money she'd made from one £8 product in two years – a staggering £22,027.
She's now using this success to help others set up their own side hustles, and even created an e-book titled How to Sell Digital Products on Etsy in which she shares more of her tips and tricks.
Grete’s clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 69,200 views.
It has 1,583 likes, 42 comments, 703 saves and 65 shares.
Many social media users were desperate for advice and guidance from Grete.
One person said: “Do you pay for SEO or just advertise on Pinterest and socials?” to which Grete confirmed “I pay for the Etsy ads now, but in the beginning I used Pinterest.”
Another added: “Thanks, you’ve been helpful. I've created my Etsy shop and started listing. But still having 0 views after a few days. 2 views as of today…advice?”
To this, Grete replied: “You’ll need to drive your own traffic first in order to get your shop found on Etsy search more quickly. Post on socials and Pinterest.
