I'm a super fit gran but was left mortified after my gym session – I don't think I did anything wrong | The Sun

A FITNESS obsessed 53-year-old said she was left feeling mortified after a worker at her gym told her off for filming her workout.

Andrea Sunshine (@andrea__sunshinee) spends hours at the gym each week, and often films parts of her routine for social media.

But the grandma said she felt "embarrassed and in discomfort" after being banned from filming in her local gym.

The fitness guru has made a name for herself thanks to her youthful looks and strong physique.

She explained on Instagram that she tried to show the worker her popular social media page in a bid to convince him to let her continue filming, but it was a total fail.

"I told him who I was, but it just made it worse," she said.

"He asked to see my Instagram, I showed him, he reacted with a sneer and said, 'Oh, are you famous? But, I'm sorry, you can't record'".

"Why embarrass me even more and make the process longer? Why didn't he call me into a corner? I felt enormous discomfort and embarrassment," she continued.

The influencer shared the interaction with her followers, and captioned the clip: "You guys know me and you know my commitment and discipline, so help me understand.

"I was prevented from recording my workouts and I thought the embarrassment I suffered was unnecessary."

"A warning to all athletes and influencers in my area, we must not accept this kind of prejudice. If I were a man, would this manager act the same way?"

Andrea also gets her fair share of attention from men when she works out, but finds the whole thing pretty funny.

She previously told Fabulous: "Because I’m a mature lady in my 50s and dealing with these messages from people in their 20s and 30s, I just laugh, it’s very laughable.
