A WOMAN revealed she discovered that one hair style in particular gets her more cash while waitressing – and she’s not the only one who swears by it.
TikTok user Bella, who posts under @b_woodard, uploaded a video saying “trying different hairstyles to see which gives me the most tips.”
She said that one guy gave her $50 and asked her age when wearing pigtails.
Bella revealed: “When I told him I was 21 he said, ‘hmm that’s a shame’ and I think he tipped me $50, maybe $60. One guy.”
Meanwhile another customer gave her a tip of $135.
And she’s not the only one who swears by pigtails.

TikTok user @semiattractivementallyok revealed that she tried curling and straightening her hair, but again it was pigtails that did the trick.
She wrote: “When you wear pigtails to work and make double amount of tips than usual.”
Many TikTok users suspected the hairstyle gets you more money for the very unsettling reason that it makes you look “younger.”
One person pointed out in the comments: “I do it because it’s such an easy hairstyle when i forgot to put up my hair but I'm always getting hit on by older men and now it makes sense.
