I'm almost an OAP but everyone thinks I’m in my 30s, I’m so hot blokes in their 20s hit on me, my secret is Aldi | The Sun

PERCHED at the bar in fishnet stockings, a denim playsuit and Doc Martin boots Miki Wesson it takes a mere five minutes before a 24-year-old lad asks for her number.

But the unsuspecting bloke is left scratching his head when reveals she’s there to meet her 21-year-old daughter Maisie Wesson, a mum-of-one.

Little does he know that Maisie is actually the youngest of five children and that Miki is in fact a grandmother of seven.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Miki, 54, says: “Men never believe how old I am, they’re always convinced that I’m winding them up.

“I have been forced to break out my ID to prove that I am actually 54. One time Maisie showed up to verify I was her mum.”

Despite her glam looks, Miki says she never intends to attract younger men and says it ‘just happens.’

BELLY LOVE

Trolls say my gut is ‘gross’ and I should ‘go to the gym’

“I refuse to dress like boring middle-aged granny.”

“I definitely won’t be breaking out the pearl and twin sets  because I look better in on-trend clothes for teens.

“It shocks people but I can definitely carry it off.”

Miki’s wardrobe includes cut off Daisy Duke denim shots, fishnets and boob tube tops.

“I love Boohoo, Topshop and Primark,” Miki says.

“I always check out the ‘older teen section’ because they are more fun.

“I  refuse to be restricted to mature age dressing, it's just so limiting.

“I have worn a white dress to a wedding because who needs to bother with tradition. I looked and felt good.

“I think the bride was a bit unimpressed but I wasn’t wearing a veil.”

Miki who is divorced lives in Cambridge  and dates, Matt Lambert, 47, a DJ, says she doesn’t care what other people think about her dress sense.

“There is no rule to say you have to dress like a frumpy 50 year old,” says the size 10 gran.

“I dress to bring joy and fun and it just so happens I look fabulous in  short skirts, denim shorts and fishnets.”

Miki says that her own mum and nan were blessed with equally youthful looks.

“When my gran was 64, she looked 44,” she says.

“She and my mum taught me the basics of looking after your skin and body.”

From the age of 12 Miki was drinking a litre of water a day, using basic soap and water to cleanse her face and using supermarket face creams.

“My gran was passionate about simple and basic skincare and so am I,” says Miki.

“I watch what I eat, drink lots of water every day and my go to face cream isn’t some expensive potion but a cheap and cheerful offering from Aldi.

“I love the bargain supermarket’s Lacura Caviar, which costs just £7.99, I lather it on and it works a treat.

“People always compliment my complexion, when I tell them it’s down to basic soap and water and Aldi moisturiser  they are as shocked as they are when they learn my age.

“I’m proof you don't have to spend big for great skin.”

Twice married Miki, who says she’s never had surgery, admits it was the failure of her second marriage to her youngest daughter’s father that saw her confidence falter.
