NOT every home is big enough for a large bathroom with swanky showers and other pricey features.
But that doesn't mean that smaller bathrooms can't still look stylish.

Uniformity is key
If you're on the quest to make your small bathroom look bigger, having a space that isn't uniform is going to instantly make it look smaller.
The pro said: "Opt for a different material within the same hue or colour family.

Zahira explained that in smaller spaces you won't have as much small space to store things, so taking advantage of vertical space is a must.
"Visually in small spaces it's essential to emphasise vertical line to open up the room and create the feeling of spaciousness."
This could be done by having floor to ceiling shelving or having mirrors that go to the highest point of the wall.
Hidden compartments
The lack of storage space in smaller bathrooms means that you might have to get a little creative with things.
Hidden compartments are a great and cheap way to do this without having to rip your entire bathroom out.
You can add a new bathroom mirror that doubles as shelves for an easy and stylish option.
