Zahira explained that in smaller spaces you won't have as much small space to store things, so taking advantage of vertical space is a must.

"Visually in small spaces it's essential to emphasise vertical line to open up the room and create the feeling of spaciousness."

This could be done by having floor to ceiling shelving or having mirrors that go to the highest point of the wall.

Hidden compartments

The lack of storage space in smaller bathrooms means that you might have to get a little creative with things.

Hidden compartments are a great and cheap way to do this without having to rip your entire bathroom out.

You can add a new bathroom mirror that doubles as shelves for an easy and stylish option.
