WHEN it comes to your home's interior, the possibilities are endless – from granite countertops to archway doors, you can have it all.

These days though, there's a particular decor decision that everyone seems to be making, and one interior designer is not impressed.

"If you're upgrading a home this is a PSA (public service announcement) for you to stop committing the cardinal sin of gray washing every single interior, especially in a beautiful colonial home," interior expert Allie said in a TikTok video shared with her 12K followers.

She continued: "It's so hideous and it's so bad. Literally, choose anything else."

She urged homeowners to keep their original wooden cabinets and stop with the gray vinyl flooring trend.

"The Tuscan that we had in the early 2000s, this is the new terrible cousin of that. Please stop making this ugly decision. It looks so bad," she pleaded with viewers.

"Just pick something else for the love of God, please."

People in the comments section of Allie's clip had varying responses to her strong opinion.

One viewer cited a particular advantage of gray flooring: "We have gray fake wood floors in our kitchen. While I wouldn’t have chosen it myself I will say it hides dirt REALLY well and I kind it love that."

"Send out positive vibes, prayers, and white light that we can find a home that’s not plagued with this," another quipped.
