MAKING your home look expensive doesn't have to cost a fortune.

Interior designer Preston Konrad shared three of the best things anyone can do in their home if they want to upgrade it.
He said: "You can do [these things] in your house this weekend and they'll make it feel a bit more chic and a bit more interior designed."
Oversized artwork
Adding any kind of art can be a great way to make your home look posh, but bigger is better according to the pro.
He said: "It's super chic and looks expensive but doesn't have to be."
You can even DIY your own art with a large canvas and paint for an even cheaper option.

You can add in books, pictures and art for a layered and personal look.
Preston recommended looking on sites like Pinterest if you need inspiration.
Change handles
Door handles and other handles in your home can make a massive difference to the overall look and feel of the space.
It's also a cheap alternative to completely changing the doors or units.
