The first thing that Bilal claimed is making your home look cheap, are magnets, pictures and drawings on your fridge.

He advised: “Let’s start with the first thing – the fridge.

“That obscene amount of magnets and family photos and ugly children’s drawings that have covered the surface of your fridge have got to go.

“So let’s be honest, unless they are North West, they are not Picasso, and those ugly children’s drawings need to find their way into that ‘secret box’ – (the trash can).

“Other than that, the fridge should be clean and clear – just like the commercials say.”

Secondly, according to Bilal, you need to ditch a popular countertop item from your kitchen.

He added: “Now it’s time to *gags* talk about these [vegetables in jars].

“Why the f**k were these even invented – I do not understand the concept of putting vegetables in a jar and tying it up with a ribbon, so that nobody can eat it, even though they’re sitting on the counter taunting us.

“It is 2023, if I walk into your house and see these hideous jars sitting on your counter, I swear, I will whoop your a**, just like your mumma should’ve.”

Finally, the interior designer shared his thoughts on family photographs.

He revealed: “Alright, let’s talk family photos.

“Here’s the deal – family photos are great to have around, if you do them the right way.

“There’s no reason to clutter every single surface and all over every single room.

“Instead consolidate your favourite family photos and create a gallery wall like this.

“I did this really inexpensively with frames from Ikea (don’t tell anybody) and I got my photos printed out in black and white.

“I think in total it cost maybe $100-$150 to do this wall and it came out looking like it cost me $1,000.

“I hope these tips help you make your house not look like a piece of s**t.”

Bilal shared his clip just four days ago, but it has quickly amassed 24.6k views.

It has 2,930 likes, 75 comments and 71 shares.

But social media users were left divided at Bilal’s comments – while some agreed, others were not on board.

One person said: “Those hideous jars are seriously ugly.”

Another added: “Thank you for always making me laugh! Your tips are pretty good too.”

However, many parents didn’t agree with Bilal and his thoughts on magnets.
