A FURIOUS homeowner put up a sign saying he would "take action" against any dog walkers who left dog mess outside his home but got an unexpected response.
Tired of finding poochy poop outside his property the bloke took matters into his own hands by putting up a notice pointing to where an offending deposit had been left.
He wasn't expecting the sassy response he got from a fellow neighbour.
The sign said: "Please clean up after your pet.
"To whom it may concern, we have you on camera. The next time your pet poops in our yard we will take action. Thank you for picking up after your dog."
In response to the notice, an anonymous neighbour left their own sign.

One fellow Reddit user reported that he had actually seen the sign in person and it seemed to be having the desired effect.

They said: "Saw this sign with dog poop. Walked past it again this morning, no dog poop."
Another said: "I totally agree with the original sign. I don’t see how it’s too much to ask that you clean up after your own dog.

"I understand not letting your dog poop on someone else's lawn but I absolutely wouldn't want to have this person as a neighbour.
