I'm nicknamed Del Boy after clearing Primark out of reduced £3 Lion King rugs – I wasn't leaving any for other people | The Sun

EVERYONE loves a good bargain, especially when it comes to homeware which can usually leave a big dent in your wallet.

But one keen shopper might've taken his love of a good bargain a bit far when he bought every single rug on sale in his local Primark.

He shared a snap of the rugs squeezed into the back of his carin the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

He captioned the post: "Cleaned out ALL THE RUGS from Primark lakeside yesterday. 18 I got in all."

It turns out the Lion King rugs has been reduced from £20 to just £3 and the Disney fan wasn't going to let a deal like that pass him by.

"No way was I leaving any for anyone else. I NEEED ALL THE THINGS," he added.

The shopper added he's selling the rugs for £15 each in a bid to make some extra cash.

But not everyone was impressed by his haul of rugs and business plan with some users slamming him as being selfish, while others compared him to Only Fools and Horses' Del Boy.

One fellow Facebook user commented on the post: "Quite selfish tbh, other people could use these for there children's room especially during this crisis why be so selfish?"

A second slammed: "Hopefully u get stuck with them and no one buys them off you."

Someone else wrote: "People weren't buying them at £3 that's why u were able to buy them so what makes u think people will pay £15?"

But not everyone was so against the bargain purchase as other users praised the shopper's ingenuity.

One wrote: "Get that money hunny, times are hard if you can earn a crust then why not?"

"Good on you," another wrote, "unless it says u are limited to so many your money is as good as anyone else's.
