Mom asks for help giving daughter A-themed name like her 4 sisters – people joke there's an obvious choice | The Sun

A MOM who asked for help finding A-themed names for her fifth daughter has been given a wealth of suggestions.

But they might not be names she will be considering any time soon.

Her appeal via an online forum only produced wide ridicule and disbelief.

This busy mom appealed for A-theme name recommendations on Reddit. But the list produced was unlikely ever to be used by her.

“I am currently with our fifth girl. We have an A-theme going," she explained.

To illustrate her love of the letter A, she revealed her daughters' names.

“I have Aurora, Aleria, Avery, and our oldest daughter Ilyfaa (stands for I’ll love you for ever and always."

She pre-empted commenters' reaction to that name.“Yes, her name is an acronym, she pronounced it with an A now too, for those wondering."

Far from getting recommendations she had asked for, she attracted many comments about some of her daughters' names.

Her eldest's moniker caused some head-scratching: "I'm so confused about how they think Ilyfaa starts with an A," said one Redditor.

Another commenter was rather harsh in their thoughts: "The next in the theme should have been Abstinence."

Aleria attracted some bewilderment, some considering it to sound like a medical issue.

"Ask your doctor if Aleria is right for you. Side effects may include headache, muscle fatigue, and loss of sleep. Do not take Aleria with Ilyfaa."

This Redditor had their unique name choice: "Amfifn, obviously. Stands for "Aye! My family is f**king nuts."

Equally, this person had their thoughts: "How about asinine? [It means] extremely foolish or silly."

The final commenter despaired: "Whatever happened to normal names like Amy or Alice?"
