EVERYONE in the UK has gone out and bought a paddling pool this week in an attempt to cope with the heatwave.
But one mum has been slammed for refusing to put her pool up for her two children.
The anonymous mum took to Mumsnet to ask if she was unreasonable for not getting it out – but she didn't get the response she was looking for.
The mum explained that her children (aged six and eight) had been asking her to put up the pool – which is no surprise considering how hot the UK is.
But she put her foot down saying no because it wasn't an 'appropriate time'.
She added: "They're in school every day until four, we have plans this weekend so it won't get used, and then next week when they finish school on Thursday- on Friday we are away for five days."

The mum added that they won't use it as 'its far too hot after school at the moment.'
She also revealed she'd rather get on with the evening routine such as after school groups, dinner, bath and bedtime.
On top of that, she didn't want to spend the money filling the pool up.
Her friend told her she was unfair for refusing to put it up – prompting the mum to ask others what they though.

But many agreed with her friend, one wrote: "How big a deal is it really to get it up and stick the hose in it? It's so light and hot in the evenings they could be playing for 3 hours or so after school – don't be a misery."
"The Grinch who stole summer," one person branded the mum.
Another commented: "Surely this weather is precisely the time for the pool. How miserable of you, your poor kids."
A third added: "How can it be too hot to use a pool? Put it up ya misery."
Meanwhile, a fourth penned: "Hugely unreasonable! It's roasting – let them have their pool!"
Although the mum said she was more than happy to put it up when they're back off holiday – people said she should let her kids make the most of it now.
