A PLANT enthusiast has revealed the most effective privacy fence solution.
The barrier hack is not only taller – it's cost-saving and noise-reducing too.
A TikTok account (@Patuxentnursery) has featured an environmentally-friendly fence in a video posted to the social media platform.
Rather than enclosing your property with wooden slabs, the user recommended that people consider a green option.
"Why you should plant a living privacy fence," the caption read.
The video panned to lush, tall green vegetation growing out of large black pots.
The TikToker explained how regular material fences require constant upkeep. A barrier of plants isn't as high maintenance, she said.
She proclaimed that the greenery is also "better for blocking noise and the wind."
"Trees can grow significantly taller," she said.
"It costs less than building a fence."
