A CONTENT creator has revealed the handy hack his mother uses to get her curtains looking picture-perfect.
Using an item you would usually throw away, you can elevate the look of your home.
In the caption of his video, TikTok user Kendrick (@kendrickreeg) wrote: "My mom figured out a perfect window curtain hack to keep them spaced when you open them."
The TikToker joked that his mother was "counting her treasure" as she gathered a bathroom essential for her decor trick.
Kendrick's mother used the inside of a roll of toilet paper to space out her curtains.
The influencer showed his followers what his mother's curtains looked like before she added the cardboard tubes.
"See these curtains, you slide them and that looks fine but then you put them back and they’re all bunched up," Kendrick said.
He then walked to another room of his house to show viewers how well the hack looked.
The TikToker explained: "These have a little more than half of the toilet paper roll in between each of the bends.
"It looks so perfectly pretty, good job mom," the content creator added.

In a follow-up clip, Kendrick showed his audience how to add the toilet roll tubes to their curtain rails.
The influencer cut each tube in half and added them to the rail between each curtain crease.
Pulling the curtains closed, he showed how well the cardboard was disguised.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.
"That’s a professional homemaker right there!" wrote one impressed follower.
Another viewer said: "This is a game changer."
