My nail lady told me it would be fine to glue a fake nail over my cracked one – it was bad advice | The Sun

THERE'S nothing more annoying than breaking a nail – especially when you've got an otherwise glamorous manicure.

So when Laura Elle cracked her pinky nail, she decided to ask her nail lady if she could just glue a fake one over the top.

And while the specialist said that she could, Laura ended up drastically regretting the decision.

Sharing a video on TikTok, which showed the fake nail in place, she wrote over the top: "My nail lady: ‘If course we can just glue a nail on top of your pinky even though it’s cracked… your nail underneath will be fine.'"

But when she took the fake nail off, her nail underneath was broken off almost halfway down the bed.

"The joke was on me," Laura captioned her video.

To which Laura replied: "Honestly.. if I could go back.. I would’ve not put one on and waited for it to heal.. now it’s 10 times worse."

"This tech doesn’t know what they’re doing," another added.

With Laura responding: "I know that now!"
