Meghan Markle has always been a style icon, from her days on Suits to a member of the Royal Family.
Before her royal days, she revealed a simple wardrobe trick which can help women look “a million times better” in clothes.
Personal stylist, personal shopper and image coach Melissa Lund spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about the Duchess of Sussex’s best style moments.
Once Meghan stunned in an incredible pair of blue shorts – “if you’ve got legs like that, why not” – in her Suits days.
She also opted for the perfect ensemble for Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, a “very elegant” black dress and hat.

According to Melissa, one of Meghan’s “best” fashion moments was her Black Halo sheath dress. This was “cut close to the body” and boasted an “asymmetric neckline”.
The expert suggested that the Duchess looks great in fitted clothes that flatter her enviable figure.
She said: “She looks great in clothes which are cut close to the body – a sheath dress, slim pants, a tailored blazer or coat.”

In April 2018, Meghan looked wonderful in the Belted Sheath Dress, available from Saks Fifth Avenue priced at £318.38.
She stepped out in full glam at a reception for a Women’s Empowerment reception during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting at the Royal Aeronautical Society in central London.
For those who want to recreate her look, the dress is available in black, white, red and cobalt.
According to Marie Claire, the Black Halo dress is a favourite amongst many A-list celebrities and fashion icons, including Blake Lively (who rocked the garment in white), and Tyra Banks (who wore it in tan). Katherine Heigl also wore the popular dress in blue.
Meghan paired her black dress with a pair of black sandals that tied at the ankles, plus a dainty black clutch bag.
She wore her hair up in a bun with plenty of volume, a few loose strands framing her face. Her makeup look was glamorous, featuring bronzer, blusher, dark eye makeup and a nude lip.
