A WOMAN has opened up about a fashion faux pas she experienced that left her majorly red-faced.
Social media user Sammy had got ready in the morning at home, before heading out to work.
Sammy, whose TikTok profile is @zinfangirl, then went about her day as usual, not giving her outfit a second thought.
But when she got home later that day, she looked in the mirror and realised she’d made a huge mistake.
Taking to social media to reveal all, Sammy explained she’d paired a simple white vest top with a grey cardigan.
However, she hadn’t realised how transparent the thin top was – and she’d put black and white striped bra underneath.

After discovering her error, she took out her camera and recorded herself – and the top in question.
“I didn’t realise how see through my top was at work today,” she began in the video footage.
“You can see everything!”
Sammy then squealed as she showed her 3000 followers and the rest of the internet exactly what she was talking about.

After branding the top “sooo see through”, she then continued that the only silver lining she could think of was that she’d chosen to layer.
Pointing to her cardigan, Sammy added: “Oopsie. Luckily, I had this on.”
However, Sammy can take comfort in the fact that she is far from the only person to have done something like this.
Fellow social media Mia Ward also used the site to vent about her fashion blunder.
Similarly, Mia had got ready in the morning and stepped out feeling happy with her choice of outfit.
But when she arrived home, the student realised she’d totally forgotten to do up her bodysuit – resulting in it flapping around outside of her trousers.
In a TikTok video, she revealed: “When you get home from a whole day of thinking you look cute.
“But you forgot to do up your bodysuit before you left and have just caught sight of yourself like this.”
And to make matters even worse, Mia soon saw that she had tied her trouser belt around the bodysuit flap.
