Parents are going wild for Asda school shoes which are scanning for £2 instead of £16 | The Sun

PARENTS are scrambling to Asda where shoppers can bag shoes for their kids for just £2.

The incredible deal comes just in time for school, as parents and children are getting ready for the term ahead.

One of those to spot the bargain was mum Jenny Cobban, who took to Facebook to informs fellow shoppers.

Sharing a snap of her kid's new footwear, the chuffed customer said in her post: ''ASDA selling off school shoes cheap.

''These were down from £16 to £2.''

Whilst shopping, Jenny had managed to bag an adorable pair of glossy black shoes that came with an intricate design and even the children's favourite Elsa insole.

To make the wear easier, the footwear also had straps instead of laces.

What's more, a similar style of shoes costs more elsewhere – for instance, rival Marks & Spencer offer a Frozen-inspired footwear for £31, whilst a pair at NEXT will set you back by £28.

''This was in a Scottish branch (kirkcaldy),'' Jenny added in the comments.

''Think the English branches will be later in doing it due to the different school holiday dates. Worth keeping an eye out next wk [week].''
