PARENTS are racing to Matalan in desperate hope of nabbing a pair of cut-price school shoes – but you’ll need to move quickly if you want to grab a pair.
Particularly if you are fed up with spending a fortune on school shoes, only for your little one to outgrow them before you know it, you’ll want to check out your nearest Matalan store as soon as you can.
One woman, Charlotte Picton, was left open-mouthed when shopping in her local Matalan in Chester, when she spotted that a variety of girls’ school shoes had been heavily reduced.
Charlotte proudly took to Facebook to show off the bargain buys, leaving many stunned.
In the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has 2.2million members, Charlotte shared a picture of her cheap finds.
She said: “Matalan Chester Retail Park store.”

Charlotte’s picture shows a selection of black kids’ school shoes that have been placed on final reductions.
There are a variety of different shoes in the sale, many with huge reductions.
Some pairs, that were originally £10, have now been reduced down to just £3.
Others, which were originally priced at £14.50, have now been massively cut-price, with a £10 reduction, making them just £4.50.

As well as this, there’s other pairs that were once £13, but are now over 50% off, and will cost you just £6.
Charlotte’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 52 likes and 81 comments.
Many parents were desperate to get their hands on the cheap school shoes.
Lots of mums tagged their friends and loved ones in the comments to alert them to the cut-price buys.
One person said: “Need to go there!”
Another added: “Have to nip up and have a look.”
Whilst a third tagged a friend and commented: “Shall we go have a look?”
Meanwhile, one parent claimed that she had recently bought a pair of these sale shoes for her daughter, and took to the comments to share her thoughts on her cheap find.
