HAVE you ever wondered just how McDonald's manage to clean their grill, after cooking thousands of beefburgers on it?
Well, one man has set the rumours to rest by sharing a video of the fast food chain's cleaning method.
He posted the clip on TikTok, which showed him throwing a tub-load of ice cubes onto the top of the grill.
As the ice melted and turned into water, it drained off at the bottom – taking the meat residue with it.
He also used a triangle scraper to ensure that all of the bits were removed from the top of the grill.
And while the method appeared to work well for the fast food eatery – other than some spillage onto the floor – others quickly warned not to try it at home.
"Please don’t ever do that," one wrote.
"You will crack the surface.. Use the right liquid and equipment for it."
"I can tell you that's the best way to destroy the grill," another added.
"The old water will make the grill go more rounded then flat, you need warm water."
