King George VI gave the Queen Mother the Cartier Halo Tiara as a wedding present in 1923.
The eldest child of the couple, Princess Elizabeth, was later given the tiara to celebrate her 18th birthday.
The late Queen did not publicly wear this tiara, despite the fact it remained in the royal collection and grew to be recognised as an iconic royal wedding tiara.
Kate stepped out wearing the gorgeous sparkler on April 29, 2011, when she walked down the aisle at Westminster Abbey to marry Prince William.

Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara
On her wedding day, Princess Charlotte might be the fourth Windsor woman to don Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara.
Queen Elizabeth II wore Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara when she married the former Duke of Edinburgh in 1947.
Since then, Princess Anne and Princess Beatrice have both worn the tiara at their weddings. It would be considered a heartfelt tribute to Charlotte’s great-grandmother if she wore the tiara on her special day.
The tiara, which dates back to the 19th century, also has a rich royal past. Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, was the one who gave the order for Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara to be made.

Spencer Tiara
Since the Spencer Tiara does not belong to the Royal Family, it is not considered to be a royal tiara. The Spencer family owns the Spencer Tiara, which Lady Diana Spencer wore in 1981 when she married then-Prince Charles.
However, as Diana’s granddaughter, Princess Charlotte could someday have the chance to wear the gorgeous tiara.
An insider told GoodToKnow: “William is close with his uncle and has asked if his mother’s namesake tiara can be given to Charlotte someday.
“William is quite aware the earl has daughters of his own, but the two have agreed that Diana’s iconic piece belongs to her first granddaughter.”

Princess Diana frequently wore the Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara to public events, and Kate, Princess of Wales, currently favours it as well.
Kate has worn this sparkler consistently to state banquets and diplomatic receptions during her years as a working royal.
