Today, October 31, was the couple’s first day in Greece as part of their state visit to the country. The Dutch royals were seen in Athens, where they visited the Acropolis on the capital’s hill.
For the occasion, Queen Maxima opted for a stunning orange and white dress.
It featured a white panel down its centre, with orange strips on either side.
It had a v-neck and long sleeves, which were slightly bell-like.
The dress reached just above Maxima’s shins.

It was a new dress from Zeus + Dione, which is a Greece-based luxury designer, known for its beautiful dresses.
Maxima’s garment was a gown from the label’s Resort 2022 Collection.
She combined this with a pair of white heels from Gianvito Rossi, called the Plexi Pumps.
Gianvito Rossi, and Italian designer, is a favourite among royals, and Queen Letizia is also a fan of its shoes.
Maxima also held a cream, square-shaped clutch bag, called the Moneypenny bag, from Sophie Habsburg.
She completed the look with a bespoke Philip Treacy hat, called the OC 950 Hat.
Philip Treacy is another designer who is well known among royals – even British Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are fans.
The hat was beret-like and featured a subtle, white netting, which covered a little of Maxima’s face.
The Dutch Queen also wore a brooch on her right lapel, which featured a diamond heart with a huge pearl at its centre, as well as hanging, pear drop pearl.
This brooch matched Maxima’s earrings, which were a pair of pearl studs with two other pearls hanging from them.
These earrings were very similar to the pearl earrings in Kate, Princess of Wales’ collection – the royal has many tear drop pearl earrings in her jewellery box, which she wears on rotation.
Royal fans were quick to comment on Maxima’s outfit today, with many praising her look.
