Savvy shoppers are racing to their local supermarket to nab £54 posh bedding scanning for £13 at the till | The Sun

A BARGAIN hunter has revealed how you can bag pricey duvet sets for less than a quarter of the original price.

The woman shared on Facebook that her local Tesco were shifting kingsize bedding for £13.50 down from £54.

In the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the social media user posted a picture of the waffle duvet set with a huge saving.

She also shared images of two other duvet set options from the 'luxury' brand West Park.

One was a double reduced from £50 to £12, and there was also a superking priced down from £60 to £15.

The thrifty shopper also pointed out that a set of two £20 pillowcases now cost just £5.

Captioning the snaps, she wrote: "Duvet sets, sheets and pillow cases in grey and white!

"Massive bargain £13.50 instead of £54!! Wow!"

The woman added that she'd found the homeware bargains at her local Tesco store in Ystradgynlais, south Wales.

Her post has received more than a dozen 'likes' from fellow enthusiastic bargain hunters.

One person commented: "I bought the pillowcases in grey this evening. They feel lovely can’t wait to go to bed!

"The West Park range is very good I already have the sheets."

However, she added: "Mind you I wouldn’t pay £20 for the pillowcases, £5 about the right price."

The original poster replied: "Oh absolutely, too much for pillow cases!

"Treat for my husband as he loves fresh sheets."
