But if your outdoor haven is in desperate need of some TLC then look no further…because savvy homeowners have revealed how you can give your garden a total glow up for as little as just 1p.


And you just need to get yourself down to your local Sainsbury's.

Many delighted shoppers have been rushing online to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains to show off the 1p bargain buys they managed to get their hands on.

Among them include Amy Buchanan, who posted an image of the 18 pots of seeds lining her hallway.

She penned: "Thank you to the person who posted the 1p pots.

Alexandra Aldworth also hit the jackpot during a recent visit to her local store – and snapped up several boxes of containing a pop-up garden so that little ones can grow their own safari scene.

The posts racked up hundreds of likes and comments between them, with many social media users super impressed by the slashed prices.

"Wow 1p," enthused one.

A second commented: "Aaaw I want some lol."

A third noted: "Omg!"
