Shoppers are rushing to buy Wilko's £1.50 spray that 'banishes mould in MINUTES' | The Sun

SHOPPERS are rushing out to snap up Wilko’s £1.50 spray which claims to get rid of mould within minutes.

Hundreds of thousands of homes across England have condensation and mould problems.

Mould and mildew are caused when there is a high level of moisture in the air in your home.

Typically, mould will only start growing on a surface that’s been wet for at least 24 hours so if there’s any damp in your home, you could be at risk.

The issue is usually worse in humid rooms, like your bathroom, which can steam up after a hot shower.

The problem can cause unappealing patches to appear on your walls, and could even affect your health.

Mould is a tiny fungus that grows in damp places. Its spores can grow on walls growing fuzzy black, white or green patches.

People living with mould are more likely to suffer from respiratory illnesses, infections, allergies or asthma.

So it is best to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Fans of the £1.50 Black Mould Spray from Wilko say the product is “absolutely fantastic” and can entirely eradicate mould from damp walls in just a few minutes.

Wilko said: “Shoppers simply spray onto any problem areas in the home and wait between 2-4 minutes before wiping away with a damp cloth.

“It’s ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and anywhere black mould is present.”

Being priced at just £1.50 is it much cheaper than similar products on the market, such as Cillit Bang Black Mould Remover Spray which retails for around £3.65.

The Wilko spray can also remove the stains that black mould can often leave behind.
