And it turns out, River Island is no different…

Fashion fans have recently been sent into a frenzy after spotting River Island selling an almost identical dupe of the sell-out Bottega Veneta woven mules that are worth a whopping £860.

With spring in full swing and summer on the horizon, the high-street store has launched its mega sale to help you replenish with wardrobes, with over many products over half price off.

And the good news is – the 'Beige Wide Fit Woven Mules' dupes are included.

With the same woven raffia detailing, slip-on style, peep toe and mid point heel, they're almost identical to the 'Beige Raffia Stretch Heeled Mules' by the luxury Italian brand.

However, there's one major difference – the price tag.

The River Island replica version have been slashed from £48 to £20 in the store's sale – meaning fashion fans can get them for 58% off the original price.

This newly discounted price means they're a whopping £840 cheaper than if you were to fork out on the Bottega Veneta designer version.

However, it's worth pointing out that despite their huge similarities, the designer pair have a higher 3.75in heel compared to River Island's 6cm.
