Simone Biles recently made a fashion statement while on vacation, taking to Instagram to show off her latest summery outfit alongside fiancé Jonathan Owens. In the post, the 25-year-old gymnast posed on a sandy, palm tree-filled location wearing a green two-piece set that consisted of a one-shoulder bra top and a mid-length skirt, the latter of which featured ruching and a thigh-high slit on one side. Lightweight, cropped, and body-hugging, the design incorporated several of this summer’s hottest trends, all while making for an ideal date night look. Biles completed the ensemble with floral strappy sandals in a vibrant palette of yellow, green, and pink. She kept her jewelry minimal, accessorizing with a couple of bracelets and a belly ring. Her braids, styled into a high ponytail, were the finishing touch to her vacation outfit. “forever kind of thing,” Biles captioned the post, to which Owens replied, “Till the world blow 🖤” The football player sported a casual white T-shirt with small rips at the neckline and near the hem, hanging loose over blue ripped shorts with frayed hems. A pair of gold necklaces and white-and-peach Nike sneakers rounded out his ‘fit.
The couple, who became engaged in February, regularly post about each other — often in matching outfits paired with sentimental, tear-jerking captions. Biles just took a trip to her fiancé’s hometown of St. Louis, where she attended his very first football camp. For the occasion, she wore a casual gray sweatshirt with purple stripes. She publicly congratulated him with a heartwarming Instagram post, writing, “I’m so proud of my fiancé for hosting his very 1st football camp in St. Louis ❤️ this is your year baby, let’s get it🤞🏾💯💋”
