A CLEANING whizz has shared a super simple 1p hack to get your grubby pans sparkling in no time.
So if like us, the last thing you want to do is spend ages scrubbing at your pans after cooking a meal, you’ve come to the right place.
And luckily for you, with this quick and easy hack, you’ll ever need to faff around cleaning a tray again – yes, you heard that correctly.
The cleaning enthusiast took to social media to show off the simple hack, which involves using a kitchen cupboard staple item, to remove grease and grime.
You’ll most likely already have the secret at home already, so don’t worry, you won’t need to go out and spend loads of cash.
This cleaning fan explained that to ‘take the effort out of cleaning your baking trays’, you should use a tea bag.

At the start of the clip, we saw someone scrubbing at a pan, as the social media user wrote: “How you [should] NOT clean your baking trays.”
The cleaning whizz then continued: “No more tough scrubbing and scratching your trays.
“Get a used tea bag (no waste here!) and cover it in excess boiling water.
“Leave for 15 minutes and let the tannins work their magic.

The cleaning fan then showed off the sparkling tray, which looked as good as new in no time, and without the faff.
The social media user later added: “The tannins in the tea bag helps to lift stubborn food partials and remove the need for harsh chemicals!
“It’s a great hack for after a roast dinner.”
If you’ve run out of tea bags or aren’t a big tea drinker so don’t have any to hand, you will find tea bags for as little as 79p, for a pack of 80 in Morrisons, making each tea bag slightly less than 1p each.
So rather than going out and splashing the cash on pricey cleaning products, you’ll want to give this affordable hack a try.
The TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @stockedfood, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 113,900 views.
But despite the ease of the hack, social media users weren’t totally convinced – and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person said: “Soaking will do the same job without the teabag.”
