AN ELEGANCE and etiquette coach has revealed that there are five things which instantly make you look tacky at the airport.
So if you are heading on holiday soon and want to make sure you turn heads (for the right reasons), you’ll need to listen up and take notes before you decide what you’re going to wear.
While some may go by "comfort is key" when travelling, this social media user has set the record straight on what not to wear on your next trip.
Posting on TikTok, Amira Bessette shunned a number of travel style staples as trashy and inelegant.
She shared her thoughts on the "five things that elegant women would never wear to the airport".
According to this fashionista, loungewear, chunky trainers and chunky designers are all big no nos for flight attire.

The first thing that Amira warned fashion fans against are “pyjama sets”.
When it comes to footwear, she also said that “chunky trainers” should be ditched.
As well as this, she advised fashionistas to avoid “lots of designer items with monograms.”
And if you don’t know what trousers to wear, according to Amira, “leggings” and “joggers” are also out of the question.

Amira’s clip has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 449,400 views.
It has 24.4k likes, 265 comments, 2,237 saves and 54 shares.
But social media users were quick to disagree with Amira’s claims in the comments.
Many claimed that they clearly weren’t elegant and explained that they would still rock their “leggings”, despite Amira’s video.
One person said: “Then I’m so not elegant.”
Another added: “I’m gonna wear my leggings.”
A third commented: “Have to fully accept that I’ll never be considered elegant enough because I’m never giving up leggings or comfy clothes at the airport lmao.”
At the same time, someone else joked: “Next time I’ll wear a prom dress.”
