YOU might think that you’re cleaning your entire home when you do your household chores – but are you actually missing the mark and forgetting six key places?
The experts at AO.com have lifted the lid on the common areas that people always miss during a cleaning session – from the headboard to the leaves on big plants.
The website created a TikTok video highlighting the spots cleaning fans aren’t honing in on and shared it with their 38,600 followers.
The clip, titled “common things and places you’re forgetting to clean, has already had a lot of attention – and it’s not hard to see why.
In it, they guide the social media users through the home, showing them the error of their ways one by one.
First up, they say that the floor inside a wardrobe or cupboard where your clothes are hanging is often totally forgotten about.

But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t require careful attention, and should be hoovered thoroughly each time you do a deep clean.

So next time you’re dusting your bedroom, don’t forget to concentrate on the headboard and make sure it’s looking good as new.
