So even if you think you've hit the dress jackpot, it could look completely different when you try it on.
That's why this group of fashion fans, who range from a size four to a size 24, decided to all try on the same dresses from Pretty Little Thing to see if they could really work for all of their shapes.
Debbie Crown posted the clip on her YouTube channel were the group often put fashion to the test.

Natasha, size 24, also looked stunning in the dress, "it's just so simple but effective and that's what I love," she quipped.

Connie, size four, explained that the neckline way far too low for her liking and she would've preferred the dress if it was higher.

The dress was a fail for Natasha who sized up to a 26 and still wasn't able to zip it up.
And although the dress did fit size 12 Debbie, she wasn't a fan of the style, especially the extra fabric on the side.
Finally, the girls tried on a classic little back dress in a satin material.
The dress looked the best on size four Connie, but was still slightly too big.
The wrap style didn't do Natasha any favours though, "it looks like a top on you," Debbie joked.
