OPTICAL illusion enthusiasts have learned the truth of their personality in one tricky image.
The way that different people approach solving brainteasers, puzzles, and other problems can reveal a lot about thought processes and personalities.
A mind-bending optical illusion was shared on TikTok by content creator Charles Meriot.
In his video, he explained that the first animal you spot holds the key to your personality.
The puzzle can apparently tell if you're strong and independent or if you are needy and uncomfortable with being you.
This all depends on if you see a bird or a crocodile when you first look at the visual puzzle.
The illusion is created by having two crocodile heads with their mouths wide open meeting in the middle.
The crocodiles are dark green while the background is light yellow.
Some people spot a bird made in the shape of the two open crocodile jaws in the center of the image.
Meriot displayed the illusion behind him as he asked: “What did you see first?”

He explained: “If you saw the crocodiles first it means you’re fierce, have different personalities around different people and you’re probably in or trying to get in a relationship right now."
Having different personalities depending on who you are with can be a sign that you are uncomfortable with being your true self and therefore alter your nature to fit in.
Meriot continued: "If you saw the bird first it means you’re strong, you’re proud and you can’t stay in one place at one time because you love freedom.”
However, it seems that the majority of Meriot's viewers are on the needy side with some adamant that there was no bird.
"I am the only one who doesn't see any bird," one wrote.
Another added: "hahaha still finding the bird."
Others asked if the TikToker was drunk or suggested that the bird flew away.
One viewer praised the accuracy of the illusion saying: "Why is this so true?"
Meanwhile, it has become apparent that for some, there is a rare third option.
"I just saw the grass attached to a river," one wrote.
Another said that they "saw a lake with mountains around it."
Meriot has not suggested what this could reveal about your personality – perhaps something to do with peace, nature, and tranquility?
