WE have watched them on our screens for years, but there's still some habits famous faces have have that might come as a surprise.
One example of this is that many VIPs enjoy a smoke from time to time in spite of the health repercussions. Here we take a look at the stars who have been spotted lighting up over the years…
Which celebrities smoked?
Kate Winslet
The super talented Titanic actress, who famously rolled her own cigarettes, is said to have started smoking during filming for Sense and Sensibility when she was 19-years-old.
However, speaking to Vanity Fair in 2008, the star said she had strict rules around her habit.
She explained: “I don’t smoke around my kids.
“Like that makes it any better that I smoke at all, because obviously it doesn’t. But I don’t smoke in the house.
“I mean, I had a cigarette this morning, which is because I hadn’t been. Coffee and a cigarette: bingo!”
However, it's not known if she has kicked her habit to the curb since talking about it more than ten years ago.

Ex-One Direction singer turned solo star Zayn Malik has also been known to smoke.

However, the hitmaker has since stopped and is now sober after having vocal cord surgery in 2020.
Speaking about her decision, Miley, who also no longer smokes weed, explained: "I don't smoke anymore, and I'm sober.
"I've been sober, pretty much the vocal surgery kind of did it for me because I just learned so much about the effects…"
HOW TO QUIT SMOKING
Here are just a few ways to help you quit smoking for good and protect yourself from the respiratory disease…
1. Make a list of reasons
As a smoker, you probably have plenty of reasons to quit, but have you ever written them down physically?
2. Set a date
Set a 'quit date' – and then stick to it, says celebrity hypnotherapist Max Kirsten.
He said: "If you are quitting by yourself, I recommend that just before you stop smoking completely on your quit date you try smoking another brand for at least a few days as they just won’t seem as enjoyable."
3. Change your diet
Researchers in the US found that some foods, including meat, can make cigarettes more satisfying.
While things like cheese, fruit and vegetables can make them taste disgusting.
4. Change your drink
The same researchers who carried out the study mentioned above also found that certain drinks make ciggies taste better.
They found that fizzy pop, alcohol, cola, tea and coffee all made fags more appealing.
5. Get friends involved
As the saying goes; strength in numbers.
6. Don't go cold turkey
Only four per cent of people who quit cold turkey are successful research suggests.
But using nicotine replacement therapies like patches and lozenges increases your chance of quitting by 1.5 times, according to the BBC.
7. Get active
Scientists say that even five minutes of walking or stretching is enough to cut cravings.
Jessica Alba
Hollywood superstar Jessica Alba is another famous face that has been pictured holding a cigarette.
It's previously been reported that the mum-of-three and Sin City actress turned to fags to ditch her pregnancy weight after giving birth to daughter Haven in 2011.
A source close to the star was quoted as saying: “She’s been chain smoking lately to keep her appetite at bay.
"Jessica struggled with an eating disorder in her teens and when she’s under pressure to look good for a part, she can slip back into extreme behaviour.”

Spice Girl Mel B has been captured smoking many times since becoming famous as Sporty Spice.
Most recently, she was snapped puffing away as she took a break from filming The Masked Singer in Australia.
