SHOPPERS are racing to get to their nearest Wilko store, desperate to nab Christmas trees that have been massively reduced.
It might still only be August, but you’ll need to move fast if you want to nab yourself a bargain ahead of the festive season.
With Wilko slashing the price of many items, it’s the large selection of cheap Christmas trees that has recently sent bargain hunters wild.
Savvy shopper Anthony Michael Georgiou was left thrilled when shopping in his local Wilko, when he spotted that the Christmas trees had been cut-price.
So if your Christmas tree has been stuffed in your loft for the past ten years and you’re thinking about getting a new one, you’ll need to listen up.
Thrilled with his cheap finds, Anthony took to social media to alert other shoppers.

Posting on Facebook, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private group with a staggering 2.3 million members, the Wilko fan explained: “Fake Christmas trees at Wilko.
“Was £120, then £60, then £30, as well as reduced price on everything else as they need to clear all the warehouse.”
With a whopping £90 saving, it’s no surprise that Anthony was over the moon with his cheap finds.
There’s six foot and seven foot trees available – the six foot tree is pre-lit, whilst the seven foot tree comes with cones.

Anthony shared his post just 15 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 72 likes and 149 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the bargain buys and many were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “I need the 6ft pre lit.”
Another added: “Need to go.”
A third wrote: "Need a new Christmas tree."
At the same time, many shoppers tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them to the cut-price finds.
One shopper penned: “Going to go tomorrow.”
Another tagged a loved one and advised: “Worth a look.”
